LOS VENADOS TRADITIONAL HUICHOL / COAHUILTECO ART
	Los Venados was created after my husbands (Teodoso Herrera) quest to locate his maternal family roots, which he knew to be Huichol.   Although we were not able to locate his grandmother's relations, we were made a part of two different communities.  Once we were accepted into the families, we started taking them clothing, food, school supplies, and even medical supplies.  They in turn would give us some of their beautiful art.   After a while we had a lot of art.  Since we knew these were our relations, we started giving some of our art to other family members.  After a while, people outside our family was asking for the art.  At that time, we decided to see if we would be able to sell the art.  We have been selling the art for about 10 years and we sell our art at a price that is reasonable so we can go back and purchase more art.   All the art that is displayed are just examples.  Most have been sold.   Please contact us by phone at 210-404-1931, fax at 210-404-1939 or email at joann-herrera@sbcglobal.net for prices and for current availability.
